The Courtly City
Located in the Netherlands, The Hague is the capital city in the province of South Holland. This beautiful city is home for the Dutch government and parliament, the Supreme Court of the Netherlands, and the Council of State.
With more than 150 international organisations, including the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court, The Hague differs from other Dutch cities. It features a great number of historic buildings, charming palaces, squares and green parks. The unique park of Madurodam is a well-known attraction, where you can learn the history of Holland through amazing miniature buildings.
Situated next to the lake of Hofvijver, the Binnenhof is a complex of buildings including the chambers of the Dutch Parliament. Take a guided tour in the monumental Het Binnenhof and visit the Kinghts Hall (Ridderzaal).
The long sandy beach of Scheveningen is one of the favourite seaside resorts in the Netherlands. Offering a good selection of water sports and entertainment venues, Scheveningen is a paradise for nature lovers and families.
Booking.com has a variety of accommodation near the sea, as well as a selection of hotels, apartments and hostels in the city centre. The Netherlands' main international airport, Schiphol, is 40 km away while Rotterdam The Hague Airport is just 17 km.

An interesting city with much heritage, a very walkable and attractive city centre, and some great art.
The historic Government Centre courtyard is (normally) freely accessible to pedestrians. Part of the same complex is the Mauritshuis museum, housing exquisite works by Rembrands, Vermeer, Potter, Hals, and many others.
Lower-key than Amsterdam with much less tourists, it's my favourite town in Holland.

We stayed one night at the hotel in room 306, which overlooks the street. Although the room overlooks the street, it is quiet, and we were not disturbed by noise. The room was impeccably clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Our bathroom had a bath, and I took the opportunity to have a bath, my first in a long time - wonderful and relaxing as we have a shower at home. With any hotel, the staff is at the front of everything, and the staff that we met, from the front of the house to others, were great ambassadors for the hotel. All were welcoming, friendly, and professional at all times. I would 100% stay at this small hotel again and recommend it to anyone who visits Den Haag; it is right in the centre and close to bus and tram routes. Shops, restaurants, and museums are all within five minutes walking distance.

The Hague is much less touristy than Amsterdam and far less industrial than Rotterdam. I fell in love with the city on my first visit and have been back twice
It's easy to get around the city, everyone speaks English and the architecture is impresive.
If I'd visited in my 20's I would have definitely considered living there permanently

what I liked most was that it was easy to walk around or take public transport, but food was very expensive. My favourite places was going to the den hagg city centre and open market. I eat their fish called Lekker bek and their soup called Erwtensoep with Broodje Kroket. I loved their chips with mayo, very nice. I will avoid to eat close to the train stations is more expensive.

Areas outside centre also very worthwhile visiting.
Areas outside centre also very worthwhile visiting. Interesting architecture (including Art Nouveau), nice shopping streets (like Frederik Hendrik Laan), interesting musea (Maurits Huis, Kunstmuseum, Gevangenis museum, Mesdag Panorama a.o.), Scheveningen haven and route to Scheveningen Pier. Numerous restaurants a ll over the city and pleasant shopping centre (Passage interesting!) close by and within the city center.
Public transport (tram, bus) is very good and frequent till late evening. Den Haag is a green city with many parks and quiet places for a rest .
If you are travelling for a conference in World Forum this is the best place. Located right in the congress area, close to Europol, OPCW, ICTY, HCCH,... Room was very comfortable. Good TV and bluetooth sound speaker were nice addition. Breakfast was very good with adequate selection of food. Tram stop, street with shops and places to eat very are very close. I can only recomend. Staff was nice, friendly and there was no problem with early check in. City center can be easily accesed by tram. Scheveningen and seaside are also relatively close.
One of the best hotels we stayed in during our six weeks of travelling Europe! We booked two rooms for our family. The rooms were warm, comfortable and clean. Moxy was close to the train station (easy walk) and close to divine restaurants. We loved the coffee/tea/board games lounge where we enjoyed a hot drink each evening and played Jenga or trivia. We caught a tram outside the hotel to Scheviningen beach and enjoyed our day there. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Thank you guys, you have a great hotel with wonderful staff.
We loved the location, the vibe and the decor!
The Collector is right in the heart of The Hague, yet the night was quiet, not even the usual sounds from otber guests moving around the hotel were noticeable.
The staff was great Friendly and knowledgeable. They add to the overall good vibes!
Loved all the art but my favorite was the "wallpaper" of old cassette tapes, so very cool!
If you are thinking of staying in The Hague, you should stay at The Collector, hands down!
The property is very nicely designed, with a lot of interesting areas for meetings, work, events, as well as leisure activities such as pool tables. Rooms are also comfortable and nice looking, although the whole vibe is more youthful and basic. I am not young, but still enjoyed it. The location is convenient as it is close to Holland Spoor station, while also walking distance to the city center. You can rent a bike from the hotel, which is also very convenient.
The hotel is perfectly located right in the middle of the The Hague's shopping area, surrounded by restaurants and within walking distance of many points of interest in the city.
The rooms are large, cozy and super clean, with the most comfortable beds and pretty good sound proofing. They provide complimentary water, instant coffee and tea and there is a small fridge in the room.
The staff was always nice and professional, very welcoming and helpful.
We spent a weekend in The Hague. We had a great time there. The location is just perfect. Around the hotel are many great restaurants and the way to the city center is within walking distance. Especially great was the staff, they had a lot of tips for us on how to make our stay. Directly in front of the hotel is a bus stop with which you can go directly to the beach. We would definitely come back
This is one of the best hotels I stayed for the past two years in the Netherlands. It is highly recommended for both short and longer stay. Excellent location, car park icluding EV charge is right below the hotel which is very convenient and all the public transport connections are there. Excellent stuff. Excellent.
We have stayed at the Marriott Hotel, The Hague previously, this was a return visit. The location is very good, as is the off-street parking, and the hotel facilities. We have a room on the 8th floor looking straight over the city, excellent.
Hotel perfectly located (Embassies quarter) to visit the the beach (Visserhaven about 2 km) and the The Hague Centre (3 km) both can be easily reached either by foot or by public transport which are super easy.
the hotel location is quiet and clean, close to tram satation and city center, reception staffs really very helpful , informative and cooperative that make my travel to netherland wonderful in winter season.
The hotel is in the city center. The train station was approximately 10 minutes of walk. Not too far from major attractions inside the city. The staff was cooperative and the rooms were quite comfortable.
Breakfast was very good. The location near the beach was ideal. We rented bikes from the hotel and rode to city center and along the beach. All that was very nice.
The hotel is located in a perfect location close to the center of The Hague. It's well connected with the tram to other parts of the city, including Scheveningen.
Nice hotel in the center of Den Haag. Good size and clean room, had the impression that the room was recently renovated. Comfortable beds. Very good breakfast.
Friendly staff
Nice and clean living room and kitchen
